God

We believe there is one true God.  God is the Creator of the universe.  Everything begins and ends with Him.  This one God has chosen to reveal Himself in three persons...the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  These three are co-equal and are one God.  This is known as the Trinity.  (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Psalm 14:1)

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is God's Son.  He is co-equal with the Father.  He is both God and man.  He was born of a virgin and conceived without sin.  Jesus is the exception to the sin rule.  He overcame every temptation waged against Him.  He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of His people by dying on the cross.  He died in our place and three days later proved He had power over sin, death, and hell when He was raised from the dead.  He made it possible for us to have fellowship with God once again.  (Matthew 1:18, Matthew 1:21, Matthew 20:28, Romans 9:5, 1 John 2:2)

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God.  He is the divine helper, assistant, counselor, and instructor.  He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ.  He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.  He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.  (2 Corinthians 3:18, Titus 3:5, 1 Corinthians 6:19, Ephesians 5:18, John 16:14, 15)

Salvation

We believe the only way for a person to have fellowship with God is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  It is through this faith that we receive forgiveness for our sin.  This is salvation.  Salvation is a gift from God to man.  We must be willing to repent of our sin and put our faith and trust in Jesus as our Savior and Lord.  There is no other way of salvation except through Jesus Christ.  (Acts 20:21, Ephesians 2:8-9) 

The Bible

We believe that the entire Bible is God's word to man.  It is true without any mixture of error or falsehood.  We can trust it with our very lives.  When the Bible speaks, God speaks. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

 Man

We believe that God created man in His own image.  He is the supreme object of God's creation.  We were created to have fellowship with God, but because of disobedience, this fellowship has been broken by sin. (Genesis 1:26)

Sin

We believe that through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin has polluted every person that has ever been born.  We are sinners by nature and by choice.  Sin separates people from God and causes many problems in our lives.  There is nothing we can do within ourselves to remove this sin.  (Romans 5:12-19)

Discipleship

We believe that it is the goal of every Christian to become a disciple of Christ by growing toward spiritual maturity.  This is accomplished through the understanding of and obedience to the word of God and submission to the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 3:10-15)

The Church

We believe that every true Christian is to be a dynamic part of a local church.  It is in the church that a Christian will grow spiritually and alongside other Christians will make an impact on the community (Ephesians 1:22-23)

Eternal Security

We believe that God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ.  Therefore the believer is secure in his salvation for eternity.  Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the works of the Christian.  It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives this security. (John 10:27-30)

Eternity

Man was created to exist forever.  He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God, through forgiveness and salvation.  To be eternally separated from God is Hell.  To be eternally in union with him is eternal life in Heaven.  Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.  We make the choice between going to heaven or hell by what we do with Jesus today.  (Acts 17:31, Matthew 25:31-46)

Second Coming

We believe Jesus will come again in His glory to take His church home.  He promised this in the Bible and may come at any moment.  It is important that everyone is prepared for that day. (John 14:3, Titus 2:13, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-1)

Baptism and the Lord's Supper

-Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord’s Supper.

-The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of Christ and anticipate His second coming.
